Bhubaneswar, May 30: Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, inaugurated a vibrant mango exhibition at the Central Horticulture Experimentation Station in Bhubaneswar. The event showcased a wide variety of mangoes cultivated across Odisha and other regions, highlighting the state’s growing prominence in horticulture.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, as well as Ekamra MLA Babu Singh. Dr. Arvind Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary to the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, was also present.
The exhibition aims to promote local mango varieties, encourage agri-innovation, and create market linkages for farmers. It also serves as a platform to appreciate the hard work of mango growers and explore opportunities for increasing productivity and export potential.
The event signifies the government’s commitment to strengthening the horticulture sector and empowering farmers through exposure, training, and enhanced infrastructure support.
