Bhubaneswar, June 17 – After a long summer break, all colleges and universities across Odisha have reopened today, bringing students and faculty back to classrooms after more than a month.
The institutions were closed from April 23 due to the intense summer heat, following a directive from the Higher Education Department. While classes were on hold, scheduled examinations continued as planned during the break.
Now, with preparations in place, both government and private colleges have resumed full academic activities. Campuses that had fallen silent over the past 43 days are once again buzzing with life as students return for regular classes.
Officials have emphasized a smooth transition back to routine academic schedules, ensuring that teaching resumes in a focused and structured manner.
For many students, the reopening marks not just the end of a break, but a welcome return to learning, friends, and campus life.
