Berhampur, 5th Aug 2025: Berhampur University will confer the honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree on Dr. Raimati Ghiuria, a tribal woman farmer from Koraput, in recognition of her achievements in organic farming.
The honorary degree will be presented during a special convocation ceremony on August 9. The event will be attended by the Governor of Odisha and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Dr. Ghiuria has earned wide acclaim for her commitment to organic agricultural practices and sustainable farming methods.
