New Delhi, 12th Aug 2025: Amended Income Tax Bill 2025 presented in Lok Sabha. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the amended bill in the House. The new bill incorporates most of the recommendations of the Select Committee. Passed within just 4 minutes. Last week, the government had withdrawn the earlier version of the Income Tax Bill 2025.
