Jharigaon,13th Aug 2025: Jharigaon MLA Narasingha Bhatra, on Wednesday, toured various villages under Palia Panchayat to understand the problems of the people and assured them of solutions.
In particular, after inspecting the poor condition of roads connecting different villages in Palia Panchayat, he promised to construct new roads. Seeing the dilapidated state of Badani Hatpada, he also visited the families of Khagapati Pujari, who died in a bike accident, and Chaitu Majhi of Kurungabeda, who died while working as a migrant laborer, to express condolences and discuss their situations.
He also visited Badani Ashram School, where he discussed the school’s issues with headmaster Sapan Kumar Haldar and promised solutions. The MLA inquired about the students’ studies and advised them on how to stay safe during the rainy season.
Finally, MLA Narasingha Bhatra, BDO Madhusudan Majhi, MP representative Chandrabhanu Nayak, Assistant Executive Engineer Vinit Kumar Mishra, senior BJP leader Prafulla Pradhani, and others joined the students for a mid-day meal consisting of rice and egg curry. The students were excited to see the MLA and BDO up close.
During the Palia Panchayat tour, former Mandal president of Dhotra, Maniram Majhi, Chacha Mandal general secretary Pratap Duria, ST Morcha president Krushnachandra Majhi, ATMA chairman Chitra Prasad Tiwari, Jharigaon Mandal Yuva Morcha president Giri Panda, Banuaguda Panchayat president Pustam Gand, and others were present.
