Bhubaneswar, 18th Aug 2025: Four new government medical colleges will soon be established in Odisha. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi during the celebration at the Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College in Koraput. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a 650-bed hospital at the medical college. At present, the state has 12 government medical colleges. Very soon, new medical colleges will be set up in Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, and Nabarangpur districts.
