Jeypore, 19th Aug 2025: Like every year, this year too the Hasaterua Facebook Group, which has more than 1,17,000 members, organized a fancy-dress competition on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. Many participants from Odisha as well as outside the state took part in the event.
The competition included categories such as Radha-Krishna, Krishna, Nanda-Yashoda, and Nanda Family fancy dress.
The group’s founder Ramanath Tripathy, along with admins Bishnu Prasad Khadanga, Penta Prasad Mishra, Surya Mahapatra, Purnnalata Mishra, Sandhyarani Patra, Seema Kanungo, Sunita Radhakrishnapahi, Anita Samal, Shuktapinki Satapath, Hari Shankar Salita, Hemanu Kumar Patra, Sadita Pattnayak, and Padhi were actively involved in organizing the event.
Winners:
- In the Sri Krishna category: Divyash Raut from Baipariguda (Nabarangpur) won first place, while Rasanarva Tripathy came second.
- In the Radha category: Sweta Adhikari from Bhubaneswar secured first place, while Nanda Sholapur from Maharashtra was second.
- In the Radha-Krishna category: Mishthan won first place.
- In the Krishna-Yashoda category: Adrik Pan won first place.
- In the Nanda Family category: Miviku Satapath, Tikshit Panda and Sheetal Panda from Jeypore won second place, while Plan Rayagada secured first place.
