Athagarh,22nd Aug 2025: The Ex-Servicemen Association held its annual celebration at the local Biju Patnaik Kala Mandap. The event, presided over by Association President Prafulla Parida, had Lokanath Sahu, Chairman of Gopabandhu Science College, as the Chief Guest.
General Secretary Ramesh Chandra Nayak presented the annual report. With the participation of associations from Athagarh, Tigiria, Badamba, and Narasinghpur, a proposal was adopted to establish a Mini CSD Canteen between Athagarh and Tigiria.
For her outstanding contribution in the field of social service, Ranjita Bhakta, Chairperson of Athagarh Seva Foundation, was felicitated. Members from neighboring associations of Angul, Bhubaneswar, Banki, Tigiria, Badamba, and Narasinghpur also attended.
Veterans Prasanna Kumar Nayak, Sarbeswar Raut, Upendra Kumar Behera, Santosh Kumar Raut, and Nityananda Dhal assisted in organizing the program. Vice President Girija Shankar Pradhan proposed the vote of thanks.
