Puri, Nov 25: The pension amount for the sevayats (servitors) of Puri Shree Jagannath Temple has been increased. This information was given by Chief Administrator Aravind Padhee. The monthly senior sevayat allowance has been increased from Rs 4,000 toRs 5,000. The revised pension will be implemented from January 2026.
The financial assistance for the marriage of sevayats’ daughters has been increased toRs Rs 1 lakh.
Message on ATM for voluntary donations to Srimandir
Devotees coming to Puri will receive a message at the ATM when they withdraw cash.
Before the receipt is printed, a message will appear asking:
“Would you like to voluntarily donate something to Shree Mandir?”
If the devotee agrees, the amount will be deducted from their card.
