No Rain Expected as Dry Spell to Continue Across the State for a Week

Bhubaneswar,  Nov 25:  The state is likely to remain dry for the next 7 days.

This information comes from Monorama Mahanti, Regional Rainfall Director, Bhubaneswar.

“The low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal will intensify into a depression on the 24th.”

“It is expected to move west-northwest over the next 48 hours without changing direction.”

“As it progresses, it will further strengthen over the southwestern Bay of Bengal.”

“However, there is a likelihood that the state will remain dry for the next 7 days.”

Farmers are advised to stay alert and harvest mature paddy carefully.
