Koraput, Dec, 04:: Gopeshwar Garada, who works in the LIC office in undivided Koraput district and is continuously striving for the promotion of the Odia language, today began distributing the book Chabil Madhubarnabodha to students, starting from tree-planting activities in Lakshmipur block of Koraput district. He has been traveling throughout undivided Koraput district, reaching Banda Ghati, personally purchasing necessary items from his own earnings, and distributing them to youth every Sunday.
Since 2021, starting from Utkal Divas, he has been distributing the book Chabil Madhubarnabodha to the people of Lakshmipur. Earlier, he also distributed mobile phones, clothing, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other stationery items to poor students, alongside tree plantation drives.
Gopeshwar Garada, the main organizer of Green India initiatives, has been widely appreciated for distributing the Barnabodha book to students while actively promoting the Odia language. During the COVID period, when celebrations of Utkal Divas could not be held, he took it upon himself to spread awareness about the Odia language and culture independently.
He continues this work across several districts including Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, and Malkangiri, visiting numerous villages to distribute the Barnabodha books.
Yesterday, in Malkangiri district’s Banda Ghati area, he distributed Chabil Madhubarnabodha, notebooks, pencils, erasers, and cutters to 210 students in Muduli Pada, 80 students in Khairiput, and 65 students in another local village.
Gopeshwar Garada was assisted by Hemanta Mahanandia, Subas Majhi, and Dharmesh Bagh in this distribution drive.
