Koraput: Dec, 10: A land resource and water division awareness camp was organized for farmers at Bhatipada under Makiguda Panchayat, Baipariguda Block. The program was held under the chairmanship of Koraput Project Director Shivacharan Jethi, with Assistant Director Suman Raut and Prashant Shant Kumar Gupta in attendance. Other dignitaries included MLA representative Prabhakar Rao, Sarpanch Manju Shikarlia, committee member Gadava, Zilla Parishad member Manijani, and officials from the water division development team.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the utility of the Land Resource Information Cards previously provided to farmers. Farmers were encouraged to use the information on these cards to improve their agricultural practices.
As part of the program, a consciousness rally toured the village to raise awareness. Additionally, some successful farmers and students who excelled in general knowledge competitions were awarded prizes.
The camp was attended by local guests and other dignitaries.
