Kakatpur, Dec, 11: Like every year, the 36th State-Level Mangala Cup Cricket Tournament is set to be organized this year at the Maa Mangala Mini Stadium, Kakatpur, with support from the Kakatpur Mangala Athletic Association.
In this regard, a press meet was held on Saturday at the Khuntia Convention Hall.
The tournament will commence on December 25 and conclude on January 4, announced the club president Pradipta Kumar Dixit.
A total of 8 teams comprising renowned players from across Odisha will participate in the tournament. The champion team will receive a cash prize of ₹50,555, while the runners-up will be awarded ₹30,333.
All players will wear white attire, and matches will be played with SG League balls, informed the club secretary Shubhrangshu Bhushan Dixit. Each match will be of 30 overs.

The organizers also announced that Man of the Match awards and several other attractive prizes will be presented to players after every match
