Public Voices Heard as District Collector Leads Grievance Camp in Tumudibandh

Baliguda,Jan, 13:  A joint public grievance hearing of Kandhamal district was held at the Tumudibandh Block conference hall. The program was attended by the District Collector Bedabhushan, Superintendent of Police Harish Bisi, Development Officer and Executive Officer Shambhunath Nandi, Tumudibandh Block Chairperson Basanti Majhi, along with various administrative officers and officials of the district.

It was reported that out of a total of 70 grievances received, hearings were conducted. Among the several blocks of Kandhamal district, Tumudibandh block has many remote and inaccessible areas where various problems persist. These include issues related to safe drinking water, rural road schemes, electricity services, housing facilities, Chief Minister’s bus service, and other civic problems.

People from different areas placed their grievances before the District Collector and the district administration, seeking solutions to the problems prevailing in their respective localities.
