Kolanara, Jan, 21: A preparatory meeting was held at the local Kalyan Mandap in Kolanara block for organizing the Rashtriya Hindu Sammilani. Senior citizens, intellectuals, and office-bearers of various social organizations from nearby villages and Kolanara village participated in the meeting.
All participants discussed how to successfully organize the programme. For smooth conduct of the event, several committees were formed with the consent of the villagers. Along with the selection of the president, committees were constituted for overall programme supervision, yajna management, kalash yatra management, kalash distribution, publicity and outreach, arrangement of prasad distribution, and maintenance of peace and order.
It was decided that the Hindu Sammilani will be held on the upcoming Magha Saptami (Sunday) at the fair ground in front of the temple of Gauranga Mahaprabhu.
