Kotpad, January 22, The inter-college level volleyball tournament being held at the Kotpad College campus has concluded successfully. The two-day tournament was sponsored by the Sports Council of Vikram Dev University, in which teams from 14 colleges participated.
At the inaugural ceremony, Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra attended as the chief guest, while B. P. Singh, Joint Secretary of the Sports Council, and Vinayak Acharya, district representative of the MLA, were present as guests of honour.
In the tournament, Rayagada Autonomous College emerged as the champion, while Vikram Dev University became the runner-up. Both teams were awarded prizes by the guests.
At the valedictory function, NAC Chairman Shankar Rao and Ganesh Panda attended as guests.
The tournament was successfully conducted under the guidance of College Principal Seshananda Mishra, with active support from Malabika Pattnaik, Balabhadra Jani, Hemanta Kumar Dalai, Indira Behera, Manoj Das, and others.
