PM SHRI Utsav 2026 Wraps Up Successfully at District Level in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur Jan, 24:The second and concluding day of the district-level first PM SHRI Utsav 2026 was successfully held in Nabarangpur.

The closing ceremony was conducted under the chairmanship of Nabarangpur Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain. Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi attended as the Chief Guest, while Nabarangpur विधायक Gouri Shankar Majhi graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. District Chief Executive Officer-cum-District Development Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan attended as the Special Guest.

The programme was convened by District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu. Among those present on the dais were Additional District Education Officers Prakash Chandra Mahalik, Supriya Nayak, and Srikant Jani; Tentulikhunti Block Education Officer Sudipta Das; Dabugam Block Education Officer Rashmita Netam; Kosagumuda Block Education Officer Soumendra Bhowmik; and District Science Supervisor Chittaranjan Pattnaik.
In his address, Chief Guest MP Balabhadra Majhi stated that the contribution of students is invaluable in building a developed India and advised them to remain dedicated towards the nation’s progress. MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi described students as the future of the country and urged them to prioritize discipline, patriotism, and a sense of social responsibility along with education.

Collector Dr. Swain encouraged students to study sincerely and strive to bring Nabarangpur district to the top. The District Development Officer also advised students to focus on developing innovative thinking.

During the closing ceremony, certificates and prizes were awarded to students and institutions that achieved success in literary activities, curiosity-based learning, skill development, sports, science project exhibitions, eco-club exhibitions, Inspiring Odisha 2036, and the Nipun Odisha programme.

In the end, District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu delivered the vote of thanks. Headmaster of PM SHRI High School, Bakoda, Naresh Nayak conducted the proceedings. The PM SHRI Utsav 2026 concluded successfully with the cooperation of all participating teachers.
