Nabarangpur,Feb, 3: A review meeting was held today at the local Panchayat Samiti Office in Nabarangpur, where Hon’ble Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi attended as the Chief Guest and Hon’ble Nabarangpur MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. Following their visit, they participated in the review meeting and distributed assistance allowances to beneficiaries.
During the meeting, the Lok Sabha MP held detailed discussions with block officials regarding the objectives, provisions, benefits, and implementation strategies of the Viksit Bharat initiative, assured employment programs, and the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) 2025.
Officials were instructed to focus on the successful implementation of various government schemes within their respective departments and to ensure maximum service delivery to the general public. They were directed to prepare a well-structured action plan in this regard by 20 February 2026.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest distributed benefits under various schemes, including:
Social Security Pension allowances to 32 beneficiaries,
Financial incentives under the Rural Housing Scheme to 41 beneficiaries,
Allowances to 127 beneficiaries under the Basundhara Scheme, and
New ration cards to 16 beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sarat Bhatra, BDO Sunil Khara, the Tahasildar, the Assistant Executive Engineer, block-level officials, and other government employees.
