Nabarangpur, Feb, 3: A review meeting was held today at the Nabarangpur Panchayat Samiti office in the presence of Nabarangpur Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi as Chief Guest and Nabarangpur विधायक Gouri Shankar Majhi as Guest of Honour. On this occasion, assistance allowances were distributed to beneficiaries.
The Member of Parliament held detailed discussions with block-level officials regarding the objectives, provisions, benefits, and implementation of Viksit Bharat, Assured Employment, and the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) 2025. Emphasis was laid on effective execution and public outreach.
Officials were instructed to focus on the successful implementation of various schemes in their respective departments and to ensure maximum service delivery to the public. They were directed to prepare a well-structured action plan by 20 February 2026.
During the programme, the MP distributed benefits under various schemes, including:
Social Security Pension allowances to 32 beneficiaries
Incentive assistance under the Rural Housing Scheme to 41 beneficiaries
Benefits under the Basundhara Scheme to 127 beneficiaries
New ration cards to 16 beneficiaries
Among others present at the meeting were Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sarat Bhatra, BDO Sunil Khara, the Tehsildar, Assistant Executive Engineer, block-level officials, and other government staff.
