Memorandum Presented to Nabarangpur MP by Papadahandi Locals

Papadahandi, Feb, 3:: Residents of Papadahandi town in Nabarangpur district submitted a memorandum to Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi regarding several key demands.

With reports that National Highway No. 26, which passes through Papadahandi, is set to be expanded into a four-lane road, local residents convened and demanded that a bypass road be constructed for Papadahandi instead. They further urged that the proposed bypass be developed as a four-lane road.

The villagers also requested that the railway station under the newly proposed Junagarh–Jeypore railway line should not be located 8 kilometers away from Papadahandi. Additional demands included the establishment of a postmortem house and the provision of a hearse vehicle for Papadahandi.
