District Collector Assesses Exam Preparation Arrangements for Class 10 Students

Malkangiri, Feb, 3:The District Collector of Malkangiri visited Jagannathpalli High School (MV-70) in Malkangiri Block and a high school in Kalimela Block to review the ongoing residential coaching program being conducted by the Malkangiri District Education Department to ensure good results in the 2026 Class 10 Board Examination.
The program, which was held from January 19 to 24, covered four centers where 200 selected students from across the district were accommodated in hostels. They were provided with free food, study materials, yoga sessions, and special daily practice tests conducted by subject experts. After reviewing the arrangements, District Collector Sumes Kumar Upadhyay expressed satisfaction and directed that a second week of coaching be organized for the students.

He advised that special attention be given to the students’ health and stressed the importance of ensuring 100 percent attendance.

During the visit, District Education Officer Chittaranjan Panigrahi, along with the head of the center, Headmaster Ishwar Rao, teachers, and staff, welcomed the Collector and briefed him in detail about the arrangements.

District Science Inspector Jagannath Behera informed the Collector about visits to various centers, including Malkangiri and Balimela, conducted by Additional District Collector Somanath Pradhan. He also apprised him that selected students from four other blocks are receiving special coaching at Khairput and Balimela centers.
