Government Focuses on Boosting the Orange Economy

Bhubaneswar,  Feb, 4:  The Orange Economy has been given priority in the Budget.
Focus on Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC).
The government will promote IICT Mumbai in this regard.
Content Creator Labs will be set up in schools and colleges.
AVGC facilities will be established in 1,500 secondary schools and 500 colleges.
The target is to create 20 lakh (2 million) skilled professionals in the AVGC sector by 2030.
This will nurture local talent and help create indigenous intellectual property (IP).
