Nabarangpur, Feb, 5:The semi-final matches of the Revenue Premier League, organized in Nabarangpur district, were held recently. In the first semi-final played at Kalahandi Ground in Nabarangpur town, the District Collector’s XI defeated the Kodinga Revenue XI. In the second semi-final held at Biju Patnaik Stadium in Umerkote, the Raighar Revenue XI defeated the Umerkote Revenue XI to enter the final.
The final match will now be played between Nabarangpur and Raighar.
Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Bishwajit Barman attended as the chief guest. Additional District Magistrate (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia was also present. Among the distinguished guests were Sub-Collector Prakash Mishra, District Welfare Officer Palaka Rabindra, Assistant Collector Manmohan Sahu, Kodinga Tahasildar Tula Muduli, and Joint Secretary of the District Sports Association Manoj Kumar Pattnaik.
From Umerkote, Tahasildar Meghaban Bag participated, while Ritu Singh led the Raighar team. Dabugam Tahasildar Sameer Kumar Patra served as the commentator. Javed Akhtar and Rajesh Tiwari from the Revenue Department, along with others, extended their support in organizing the event.
