Follow the Path of Truth and Non-Violence: A Call to Embrace Gandhi’s Teachings

Sundarpur. Feb, 5: The 79th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, was observed at Dah Rapatana under Chandbali Block, organized by the Gandhismriti Committee of Sundarpur Gram Panchayat.

At the conclusion of the day-long program, a general meeting was held under the chairmanship of retired teacher Rakshakar Barik, with coordination by CRSCS leader Dileep Shekhar Nayak. ARDI Fund officer Pradeep Nayak attended as the chief guest, while other distinguished guests included Sarpanch Abhimanyu Jena, committee member Sarat Chandra Behuria, editor of the Mish Kavita Sahitya Sansad Deepti Ranjan Nayak, retired teachers Pranabandhu Ojha, Prafull Patra, and Bhagirath Nayak. They called on attendees to be inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and ideals.

The editorial note of the event was read by Kushabhadra Sethi BIRB, and senior teacher Krushnachandra Raul offered a vote of thanks. The program’s organizers included Anil Kumar Das, teacher Deepti Nayak, teacher Vijay Kumar Dehuri, Ashok Kumar Behera, Sushant Kumar Bishwal, former Sarpanch Srikant Nayak, social worker Chandrakant Nayak, and Sadananda Malik, along with many other respected personalities.

During the day, senior teachers Pitabas Nayak, Udayakar Jena, and Manoj Kumar Palai served as judges for various student competitions held as part of the program.
