Nabarangpur, Feb, 10: A joint public grievance hearing camp was held today at the Zilla Parishad Conference Hall under the joint chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and Superintendent of Police Sandeep Sampad Madkar.
The camp was attended by Additional District Magistrate (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector of Nabarangpur Prakash Kumar Mishra, along with all district-level departmental officers.
A total of 38 applicants submitted their grievance petitions at the camp. Among them, 27 were related to individual issues and 11 concerned village-level and collective problems. One complaint was resolved on the spot.
Most of the grievances were related to pension benefits, land pattas, electricity, health services, labour issues, operation of LAccMI bus services, and housing.
