Nabarangpur, Feb, 11: Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 has been launched in Nabarangpur district. The objective of the campaign is to ensure that the government’s welfare schemes reach the last person at the grassroots level. Achieving 100 percent saturation in the sectors of health, nutrition, sanitation, education, animal husbandry, and social welfare is the primary goal of the initiative.
A “Sampurnata Rally” was organized in the morning from the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to the Mission Shakti office. Students from various schools, colleges, and nursing colleges, district-level officials, representatives of Piramal and Aabha organizations, as well as Anganwadi and ASHA workers participated in the rally. The District Collector, Dr. Maheshwar Swain, and District Education Officer Chhatrapati Sahu flagged off the event.
Later, a meeting was held at the local Mission Shakti conference hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain. He provided information regarding five key parameters of the district and emphasized the successful implementation of Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 in Tentulikhunti and Dabugam blocks.
Dabugam MLA Manohar Randhari and Nabarangpur MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi attended as guests. Among others present were Additional District Magistrate Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Zilla Parishad CDAO Biranchi Narayan Darwan, CDMO Dr. Malay Pradhan, DEO Chhatrapati Sahu, PA ITDA Rajib Sahu, ADPHO Dr. Malay Tripathy, DSWO Draupadi Kahar, DIPRO Manoj Behera, Tentulikhunti BDO Manoj Panigrahi, Dabugam BDO Sameer Kumar Patra, Nabarangpur BDO Sunil Khara, Municipality Executive Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar Karna, DCPO Suresh Pattanayak, along with other officials.
