Raighar:Feb, 20: Nabeena Nayak has been appointed as the Zone President of the Women’s wing of the undivided Koraput district unit of the Biju Janata Dal.
Her appointment was approved by party state president and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Following his approval, the names of the zone-level presidents and the State Vice President of the Biju Mahila Janata Dal were officially announced.
Nabeena Nayak, former Block Chairperson of Raighar, has been nominated as the zone-level president covering Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nabarangpur areas of the undivided Koraput zone. She is regarded as a senior woman leader and a former MLA candidate who has long stood with people in their joys and difficulties.
After the announcement of her name, a wave of celebration spread across the region, with supporters and party workers extending their congratulations. Nabeena Nayak expressed gratitude to Naveen Patnaik and State Women’s Wing President Snehangini Chhuria for their trust in her.
She stated that she will follow party directions and work to further strengthen the organization in the coming days.
