Outreach Vehicle ‘Sahyog Rath’ Launched in Kotpad NAC

Kotpad, Feb 26: The “Sahyog Rath” was flagged off today at the Kotpad Notified Area Council (NAC) in Koraput district. The vehicle was inaugurated by District Collector Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, who flagged it off with a green signal.

As part of the initiative, the Sahyog Rath will travel across all wards of the Kotpad NAC to spread awareness about various Central and State Government welfare schemes such as Ayushman Yojana, Madhubabu Pension Yojana, Housing (Awas) Yojana, and other social welfare programs. The campaign aims to inform citizens about these schemes and enable eligible beneficiaries to apply directly after proper identification.

The District Collector, NAC Chairperson M. Shankar Rao, and Executive Officer Kamalesh Mohanty informed the media that the initiative will help ensure that deserving beneficiaries receive scheme benefits without difficulty.
During the program, NAC Chairperson M. Shankar Rao, Vice-Chairperson M. Santoshi, Executive Officer Kamalesh Mohanty, MP representative Pradeep Rath, all ward members, and council staff were present and extended full cooperation.

Additionally, at the reading rooms within the Kotpad NAC area, arrangements have been made to support students preparing for competitive examinations such as RI, Group D, and Group C. School dropouts and other learners will also be able to continue their studies with the support of books and guidance from intellectuals and former teachers.
The District Collector praised this initiative as a welcome step and appreciated the cooperation of Kotpad NAC and various intellectuals involved in the effort.
