Pension-Related Issues Discussed at EPF Pensioners’ Meet in Koraput

Jeypore, March, 11:  A meeting of the EPF Pensioners Association, Koraput District Committee, was held at the Jeypore Yadava Bhavan under the chairpersonship of Nalini Rath. During the meeting, a decision was taken at the national level to further intensify the ongoing movement at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi. It was resolved to strongly press Parliament members to demand a six-month pension of ₹6,000 along with medical facilities.

The Koraput District Committee decided to cooperate with the central organization in this ongoing movement. In today’s meeting, prominent members including Pramod Mahanti, P. Gauri Shankar Rao, J. Prasad Rao, Mudi Nath Rath, and Basant Behera shared their views. At the end of the program, Kishore Panda offered thanks
