Nanda Devi, Mar, 21: The cooking gas tanker Nanda Devi has reached Vadinar Port in Gujarat.
The vessel is carrying 46,500 metric tons of LPG.
It successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz and arrived in India.
The Indian and Iranian navies assisted in ensuring safe passage.
The LPG aboard the Nanda Devi will be transferred to two other ships.
Yesterday, the LPG container vessel INS Shivalik also arrived.
The LPG brought by these two ships is expected to help ease the gas shortage in the country.
