Lack of Basic Furniture in Nearly 20,000 Schools

Bhubaneswar, April 02:There are no desks and benches in 19,883 schools across the state, informed School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond in the Assembly.
Due to the lack of desks and benches, students are forced to sit on the floor while attending classes.
The minister stated that steps are being taken to provide desks and benches to these schools.
