Bhubaneswar,April 03: Research scholar Sadashiva Mahapatra has been awarded a Doctorate degree in Odia Language and Literature from Utkal University.
He earned this qualification under the direct supervision of Professor Debasish Patra, Head of the Department of Language and Literature at Fakir Mohan University. His thesis, titled “The Richness of Dash Benhur’s Short Stories”, was highly appreciated by retired professors Kailash Pattnaik and Raghunath Meher of Visva-Bharati University.
Dr. Mahapatra hails from Dandasahi under Ranpur NAC in Nayagarh district. He is the son of Bishnu Prasad Mahapatra and Soudamini Mahapatra. Expressing his gratitude, he credited his parents, family members, teachers, and faculty of Utkal University for his success.
He also acknowledged the inspiration and support of noted writer Dash Benhur, Professor Krushna Chandra Pradhan Das, and his wife Kadambini Das, stating that he remains indebted to them for their encouragement.
