World Forest Day Observed at Sarangada with Tree Plantation and Conservation Drive

K. Nuagaon, April 04:: World Forest Day was celebrated at Sarangada under the K. Nuagaon forest range office in Kandhamal district.
On this occasion, various programs were organized including tree plantation, competitions on forests and economy, prize distribution, and an awareness rally involving women’s self-help groups and students of Vikas Parishad.
As per the instructions of the Baliguda Forest Division Officer, the event was conducted under the leadership of Forest Range Officer Ramakanu Kahar and managed by Forester Sushanu Kumar Baishakhi. Other officials including Santosh Kumar Senapati, Arun Kumar Dash, forest guards Kalyani Sahu, Sudeshta Behera, Dharmendra Digal, Rupinga Mallik, Subrata Nayak, Parbati Mallik, Sujata Sahu, along with forest protection members and staff of the forest department, actively participated and extended their support.
