Exciting Matches Mark the Beginning of Green Tennis Cricket Tournament with Large Participation from Local Teams

Kothar, April 11:  The final match of the Green Tennis Cricket Tournament “Mankidia Cup (Season-1)” was successfully आयोजित at the Similichhanda cricket ground under Sareichudakuti Panchayat of Dhamnagar Block.
In the night tournament, Kuna-11 team emerged as the champions of this year. The final match witnessed a tough contest between Kuna-11 and Chatrapada-11. Batting first, Kuna-11 scored 61 runs in the निर्धारित overs. Chasing a target of 62 runs, Chatrapada-11 failed to hold their ground and were defeated by 19 runs.
In the quarterfinals, Gajbaba-11, Talapada-11, Kuna-11, and Chatrapada-11 participated. In the first semifinal, Kuna-11 defeated Gajbaba-11. Similarly, in the second semifinal, Chatrapada-11 defeated Talapada-11 to enter the final.
The tournament was organized by the Shri Shri Radhakanta Youth Association Committee, where hundreds of sports lovers were present to encourage the players.
As chief guest, Bishwaranjan Biswal, and as guests of honour, Dhusuri Press Union President Santosh Das, Treasurer Ratika Nayak, and village elder Prashant Behera attended the event and presented the Mankidia Cup trophy to the winning team. The runner-up team was Talapada-11.
