Major Decision by Cabinet as 11 Important Proposals Receive Approval Covering Multiple Sectors of Development

Bhubaneswar, April 11:  The Cabinet has approved 11 proposals, informed Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
Tender approved for underground pipeline in the Hadua irrigation project.
Villages in Badamba (76 villages), Narsinghpur (5 villages), and Tigiria (5 villages) will benefit.
Special focus on the Parbati Giri Mega Lift Irrigation Project.
Water will be lifted from Hirakud Dam for supply.
About 6,210 hectares of land in Sambalpur district will be irrigated.
A Rs3,400 crore “Atal Bus Stand Scheme” has been approved.
318 bus stands will be upgraded.
A new MVA substation will be set up in Keonjhar district at a cost ofRs1,647 crore.
Amendments to the Odisha Labour Service Rules have also been approved.
Previously appointed ALO and RLI officers will be exempted from departmental examinations.
