Kotpad , April 15: A blood donation camp was organized at the Kotpad Health Centre on the occasion of Odia Paksha.
The programme was inaugurated by local MLA Rupna Bhadra and BDO M. Shankar Rao. The camp was held under the chairmanship of Health Centre doctor Dr. Bishwaranjan Malik.
A large number of youth, students, teachers, and fire service personnel from the Kotpad area voluntarily participated in the blood donation drive. Doctors including Dr. Ram Pasha, Sahil Kundu, Debi Prasad Patra, and Kajol Devi also donated blood.
More than 50 units of blood were collected during the camp. Blood collection was carried out by district medical staff.
Pharmacist Suryakanta Pati and volunteer Tulsidas Nayak were present and assisted in the smooth conduct of the camp.
