Belaguntha, April,16: On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, a grand कार्यक्रम was organized at Belaguntha on April 14.
The event was conducted under the leadership of Panchanan Nayak, President of the Ambedkar Bichar Manch (state unit) and Radha Krishna Sabha. Niranjan Pradhan, President of Radha Krishna Library, attended as the chief guest, while Padmacharan Pradhan, Vice-President of the library, joined as the keynote speaker. Social worker Shekhar Kumar from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands was present as a special guest. Among other distinguished attendees were former Bar Association President Abhimanyu Goud, youth social worker Dillip Pagad, state secretary Sudhir Nayak, and several other members and community leaders.
The speakers highlighted the life, contributions, and significant role of Dr. Ambedkar in drafting India’s Constitution and shaping the nation’s legal framework.
A bike rally was organized starting from Nimna in Asika block, passing through Kendupadar, Gangapur, Kabisurya Nagar, Gobara, and Belaguntha, and concluding with a roadside meeting at Ranjanagar. Additionally, an awareness meeting was held at Udura village under Belaguntha block, marking the end of the rally.
Panchanan Nayak extended his gratitude to all participants. Hundreds of युवाओं and members of the Ambedkar Bichar Manch actively took part in the कार्यक्रम. Police from Gangapur, Bhanjanagar, and Belaguntha ensured law and order during the rally.
