Electoral Matters Take Center Stage as Sasmit Patra Approaches Chief Election Commissioner

Bhubaneswar, April 23:  The BJD has written a letter regarding the issue of 9.8 lakh voters being excluded from the voter list. BJD MP Sasmit Patra has written to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
In the letter, MP Sasmit Patra has raised concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. He emphasized that an accurate voter list is essential for democracy.
He further stated that during the preliminary verification, such a large number of voters being excluded raises serious questions about transparency.
