JEE Main Session-2 Results Declared; Bhavesh Patra Emerges as State Topper

Bhubaneswar:April. 27: The results of the national-level entrance examination JEE Main (Session-2), conducted for admission into premier engineering institutions across the country, have been announced. In this examination, Odisha’s Bhavesh Patra secured a perfect 100 NTA score, earning the distinction of being the state topper.
Key Highlights of the Examination:
All-India Toppers: This year, a total of 26 candidates across the country achieved a perfect 100 NTA score. Among them, Mallavarapu Asna from Telangana is the only female candidate to achieve this feat.
Participation: A total of 11,10,904 candidates registered for Session-2, out of which 10,34,330 candidates appeared for the examination.
Wide Reach: The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted in 304 cities across India and 14 cities abroad.
Transparency & Technology: To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the National Testing Agency (NTA) used Artificial Intelligence (AI) and live CCTV surveillance. All exam centers were closely monitored from a control room in New Delhi.
Eligibility for JEE Advanced:
Based on the combined merit list of Session-1 and Session-2, the top 2.5 lakh candidates have qualified to appear for JEE Advanced. The examination is scheduled to be held on May 17.
The exam, conducted in multiple regional languages including Odia, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the country.
