Key Decisions Taken on Purchase and Processing of Minor Forest Produce in Koraput

In the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening the collection of minor forest produce in the district, ensuring procurement at fair prices, and improving proper processing systems. Emphasis was also laid on value addition of forest produce and the development of market facilities to strengthen the livelihoods of rural and tribal communities.
Officials from concerned departments, representatives of agencies, and committee members participated in the meeting and exchanged views on various proposals and action plans.
