Asha Vansika, Known as “Masan Kanya,” Creates History with Selfless Service, Cremating More Than 200 Unclaimed Bodies

Rayagada, April. 29:: Asha Vansika, a fourth-grade employee working at the District Headquarters Hospital in Rayagada, has set a remarkable example of humanity.
Despite her low salary, she has dedicated herself to social service and has so far performed the last rites of more than 200 unidentified bodies.
Even while managing household responsibilities and work pressure, she has continued this humanitarian service as an important part of her life.
She believes it is her duty to perform the final rites with dignity for those unidentified deceased who have no one to claim them.
Asha Vansika has stated that her husband, along with T. Lokesh Kumar and Kiran Kandgiri, have been supporting her in this service work.
Her dedication, service spirit, and humanity are being widely appreciated by various sections of society. Her effort to give dignity even after death has become an inspiring example for society.
