Social Welfare Initiative in Nabarangpur Facilitates Marriage of 28 Couples in Well-Organized Mass Wedding Ceremony

Nabarangpur, May 02:: A mass wedding ceremony for 28 couples was successfully आयोजित in Nabarangpur under the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah Yojana. The event was organized by the district administration in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department at Dolphin Resort in the town.
A total of 28 bride and groom pairs tied the knot in accordance with traditional Odia rituals and chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. The ceremony enabled eligible couples from economically weaker sections of the district to enter into married life with dignity.
The Hon’ble Minister for School and Mass Education, Nityananda Gond, attended the event as the chief guest. He blessed the newly married couples and provided financial assistance of ₹45,000 to each couple through cheques.
Among others present at the অনুষ্ঠানে were MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Gouri Shankar Majhi, District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Superintendent of Police Sandeep Sampad Madkar, Additional District Magistrate (General) Tapan Kumar Khuntia, Municipality Chairperson Kunu Nayak, Chief Development Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan, District Information and Public Relations Officer Manoj Behera, District Child Protection Officer Suresh Pattnaik, along with intellectuals, dignitaries, and media representatives, who contributed to the success of the event.
