21st November 2024: The 4th edition of ‘Odisha 50’ was celebrated today in Bhubaneswar, organized by Sambad. The event honored the top 28 women entrepreneurs from across the state, recognizing their exceptional contributions to various industries.
The ceremony, attended by distinguished guests, including the Minister for Handloom and Textiles Pradeep Balasami, Secretary of Women and Child Development Shobha Sharma, and other notable personalities, acknowledged the achievements of these women who have made remarkable strides in business.
During the event, the women entrepreneurs were presented with the ‘Sharada Samman’ award, a certificate of recognition, and cash prizes. In his speech, the Chief Guest emphasized how women have overcome challenges and are leading in various fields, asserting their positions in society. The event highlighted the importance of women’s education and employment as key factors for their empowerment.
