Jharsuguda May 09:: A Maha Samadhan public grievance hearing camp was held at the premises of the Jharsuguda District Collector’s office.
The camp was attended by Jharsuguda District Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan, Superintendent of Police Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, Chief Development Officer-cum-CEO of Zilla Parishad Bishwaranjan Nayak, Sub-Collector Sabyasachi Panda, Assistant Collector (Grievance) Mrutyunjaya Sabar, along with district-level officers and staff from various departments.
A total of 68 grievances were registered during the camp, including 49 individual complaints and 19 collective village-related issues.
Among the individual complaints, financial assistance amounting to Rs 70,000 was provided to five beneficiaries.
The grievances mainly related to land disputes, drinking water supply issues, road construction and repair, financial assistance, and other public concerns.
All complaints were heard seriously, and instructions were issued to the concerned departments for their prompt resolution.
The District Collector stated that the district administration will continue its efforts to ensure simple and speedy resolution of public grievances through such camps.
