Hon’ble Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs Chairs Important Meeting on Development and Public Welfare Initiatives

Bhubaneswar, May 13:  Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, and in the presence of the Additional Chief Secretary, Smt. Usha Padhee, a review meeting on the progress of urban development in the State was held at the Odisha Urban Academy.
In the meeting, top priority was given to uninterrupted drinking water supply in urban areas, drainage projects, and preparations for flood control ahead of the monsoon season. Along with this, the Chief Minister’s Urban Development Scheme and affordable housing initiatives are being expedited, and instructions have been issued to further strengthen the municipal administrative system.
