Bhubaneswar, May 25: At the State Award Distribution Ceremony of Odisha Scouts and Guides, I had the opportunity to remain present along with Hon’ble Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Nitya Nanda Gonda to present the State Awards and extend congratulations. Today, groups from various districts of Odisha belonging to different categories such as DEOs, DPEOs, Adult Leaders, National Awardees, Cubs and Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides were honoured with State Awards.
The core motto of Scouts and Guides is service and discipline, because discipline makes future life beautiful, meaningful, and respectable. I hope that the State Award received today will inspire everyone to become even more disciplined and punctual, thereby making their lives better. The role of Scouts and Guides is extremely important during crowded gatherings and other public events. Their spirit of service has greatly broadened the path of social service. Therefore, I congratulate all Scouts and Guides for their dedication.
