New Delhi, May 30: Passengers have been advised by the Railways to remain alert and vigilant against any kind of suspicious activity or suspicious persons during train journeys.
In this context, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw held a review meeting with railway field officials in New Delhi to assess and strengthen security measures across the railway network.
Passengers have also been urged to immediately report any suspicious activity or unattended items to the Railway Helpline Number 139 to help ensure safe and secure travel for everyone. The Railways is further enhancing surveillance and intelligence systems using modern technologies such as CCTV, AI-based monitoring, and drones to improve passenger safety.
