Puri, June 3: For the first time, a world-class BRICS conference will be held in the international pilgrimage and tourism city of Puri at Hotel Taj in Baliapanda from June 3 to June 5 for three days.
In preparation for this, Puri SP Prateek Singh has reviewed the security arrangements. The hotel and its surrounding areas will be placed under tight security. Traffic management will be strictly regulated. Arrangements are also being made for disaster management, as a BRICS planning meeting will be held here.
Representatives from 11 countries, including Ethiopia, Indonesia, China, Iran, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, will participate in the conference. Security will be further strengthened around Hotel Taj and nearby hotels as well as along the beach area.
Since this is the first time such a global-level conference is being held in Puri, the importance and prominence of the city have significantly increased.
