Odisha Marks a Major Milestone in Strengthening Environmental Conservation and Wildlife Preservation Initiatives

Bhubaneswar,June 4:  A significant chapter has been added today to Odisha’s efforts in conserving its natural resources and wildlife.

The tigress ‘Jinata’, relocated from the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, has given birth to four cubs in the favorable habitat of Similipal. This achievement is not only an increase in the tiger population in the state, but also a clear example of our administrative foresight in ensuring biodiversity conservation and creating a safe and robust habitat for wildlife.

The Forest Department has taken special measures to ensure the safety of the mother and her cubs, and their movements are being closely monitored. Due to the dedicated supervision of our forest personnel and effective conservation policies, Odisha has established itself today as a safe haven for wildlife.

Maintaining the ecological balance of Similipal and further strengthening the state’s wildlife conservation initiatives in the coming days remains our government’s full commitment.
