Bhubaneswar, June 6: The State-Level Mango Festival 2026, organized at the Central Horticultural Experiment Station through a joint initiative of the Odisha Government’s Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), has been successfully held.
The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolios of Agriculture, Farmers’ Empowerment, and Energy, stated that in order to double farmers’ income in the state, the government is now taking various initiatives to promote the cultivation of not only paddy but also mango, pulses, and other cash crops.
